No-Go Lines FAQ

Which Neato robots support “No-Go Lines?

The following Connected-Series robots support the “No Go Lines” feature:

  • Botvac D3 Connected
  • Botvac D4 Connected
  • Botvac D5 Connected
  • Botvac D6 Connected
  • Botvac D7 Connected

What are No-Go Lines?

The above Connected-Series models allow you to set virtual boundaries known as “No-Go Lines” around places you want the Neato robot to avoid. Use the Neato app and 'MY FLOOR PLAN' feature to create Virtual No-Go Lines that stop the robot from going over specific areas within your home such as doors, stairs, specific rooms, etc.

How do I create multiple floor plans with 'No Go' Lines?

To create multiple floor plans, Neato app version 2.6 or above is required. If needed please visit your smart device's marketplace to obtain our latest update. Only the D5, D6, & D7 models can suport multiple floor-plans.

How many floor plans with No-Go Lines can I store?

You can store up to a maximum of 3-floor plans.

How should I  draw boundary markers?

When drawing ‘No Go’ lines, it is helpful to zoom into the map on your smart device using a standard pinch to zoom gesture, especially on larger floor plans where precision might be needed. It is important to ensure all gaps are closed. If needed draw your lines to overlap each other or through walls, door or any other static features that are visible on your floor plan.
