Neato Works with Google Assistant and Google Home Summary FAQ

You can use your voice to control your Neato Botvac Connected Series robot vacuums with Google Assistant using your Google Home. Here’s more information on what you can say and how to connect them.

  

 

What countries and languages are supported?

Google Assistant and Google Home are available for the Neato Botvac Connected Series in the United States in English.

 

As Google Assistant and Google Home are introduced in more countries and languages, Neato will expand availability for the Neato Botvac Series.

 

What Neato Robot vacuums does Google Assistant and Google Home work with?

 

Neato Botvac Connected, Neato Botvac D5 Connected and Botvac D3 Connected work with Google Assistant and Google Home.

 

How do I setup my Neato Botvac Connected Series to work with Google Home and Google Assistant?

 

Follow the directions in the Google Home app to link your Neato Botvac Connected device.  Look for the Neato Robot LINK card.

 

You will need the Email and Password for your Neato account to authorize Google Home and Google Assistant so they can control your Neato Robot.

 

The Google Assistant invocation name is Neato Robot.  When you invoke the Neato Robot Google action the first time, for example say “OK Google, talk to Neato Robot”, you will be prompted as follows:

Step 1: Link your Neato account

Step 2: Login with your Neato Email and Password

Step 3: Authorize the Neato Robot Google Action to access your Neato Account

 

After your Neato account is successfully linked, you can use Google Home to talk to Neato, just say “Ok Google, tell Neato Robot to start cleaning”. 

 

Can I use my Android phone or other Android device to control my Neato Robot? 

 

At this time, Google Home is the only device that can be used to control your Neato Robot using Google Assistant.

 

What can I say to Google Home to control my Neato Robot?

 

To Start cleaning your house - 

  • Ok Google, ask Neato Robot to start cleaning.
  • Ok Google, ask Neato Robot to start.
  • Ok Google, ask Neato Robot to clean.
  • Ok Google, ask Neato Robot to run my bot.
  • Ok Google, ask Neato Robot to clean my house.

 

To Stop house or spot cleaning - 

  • Ok Google, ask Neato Robot to stop cleaning.

 

To Pause house or spot cleaning - 

  • Ok Google, ask Neato Robot to pause cleaning.
  • Ok Google, ask Neato Robot to pause.

 

To Resume house or spot cleaning - 

  • Ok Google, ask Neato Robot to resume cleaning.
  • Ok Google, ask Neato Robot to resume.

 

To Check the Battery charge level –

  • Ok Google, ask Neato Robot to tell me my robot’s battery level.
  • Ok Google, ask Neato Robot to tell me my robot’s charge level.
  • Ok Google, ask Neato Robot to get my robot’s battery level.
  • Ok Google, ask Neato Robot to get me my robot’s charge level.

 

To Find your Neato Robot – Your Neato Robot will beep for 5 seconds.

  • Ok Google, ask Neato Robot to tell me where is my robot.

Controlling the Recurring Schedule on your Neato Robot

To Schedule your Robot –

  • Ok Google, ask Neato Robot to set schedule Every {DayOfWeek} at {Time}
  • Ok Google, ask Neato Robot Every Day at {Time}
  • Ok Google, ask Neato Robot Every Weekday at {Time}
  • Ok Google, ask Neato Robot Every Weekend at {Time}

To Enable the Schedule on your Neato Robot –

  • Ok Google, ask Neato Robot to enable schedule.
  • Ok Google, ask Neato Robot to turn on schedule.
  • Ok Google, ask Neato Robot to activate schedule.
  • Ok Google, ask Neato Robot schedule on.

To Disable the Schedule on your Neato Robot –

  • Ok Google, ask Neato Robot to disable schedule.
  • Ok Google, ask Neato Robot to turn off schedule.
  • Ok Google, ask Neato Robot to deactivate schedule.
  • Ok Google, ask Neato Robot schedule off.

 

To Stop the Google Assistant Neato Robot session -
