The robot cleans in sections. It may map the room into segments of 15′ x 15 ‘ or smaller, based on the furniture and what it “sees” in the room. It cleans within those segments before continuing on to the next segment. The robot continues to clean section by section until the entire level of the home is clean. The robot will recharge mid-cleaning if it needs more battery power to finish the cleaning.
