I replaced the battery and it now seems to be charging slowly.

Using unauthorized or 3rd party accessories (non-Neato Genuine) can damage your robot and void your warranty. It is possible you have installed a non-Neato Genuine part that is not compatible with your robot and is not charging optimally.
