Please put my Dirt Bin back in.

 

If your Neato robot is giving a 'Please put my dirt bin back in' error message the dirt bin is either full or the Neato can't detect the dirt bin.

 

The dirt bin and filter are most likely blocked with dust or debris. Please empty the dirt bin and clean the filter. See video for assistance. 

 

 

If the issue persists: 

  • Make sure the dirt bin is in the robot and properly seated in position. The top of the dirt bin should be level with the top of the robot if inserted correctly.
  • Make sure that the filter is inserted into the dirt bin correctly.
  • Please check to see if the dirt bin sensor is functioning. Inside the dirt bin compartment, there is a small rubber button. Press this button several times. The Neato should beep when you do this. See image below of where the sensor is located.
