What Wi-Fi networks does Botvac D3/ D5 and Connected series support?

Botvac D3/ D5 and Connected robots use Wi-Fi to connect to the Internet. There are two frequency bands commonly used for Wi-Fi communication: 2.4 and 5GHz. Most wireless routers can be configured to support both bands. These robots only use the 2.4GHz band to connect to the Internet.  It does not support the 5GHz wireless band.

The Neato app automatically shows you only the available 2.4GHz wireless networks, when you connect your robot.

If you want to connect your robot to a hidden network make sure it is a 2.4 Ghz network otherwise you will receive an error message on your robot.  The error message you will receive is:  “Incorrect Wi-Fi password or router.  Try again.”
