You can use your voice to control your Neato Botvac Connected Series robot vacuums with Google Assistant using your Google Home or other Google Assistant enabled devices. Here’s more information on what you can say and how to connect them.

What is the difference between the old Neato Action and the new Neato Action?

This new Neato Direct Action offers a tighter integration with Google Assistant.

Not only is it easier for you to control your Neato - Instead of saying “Hey Google, ask Neato to clean”, you can simply say: “Hey Google, start vacuuming”

The action will now be available in more countries where both Google Assistant and Neato are in.

When will the old Neato Action stop working?

The old Neato Action will stop working November 2019. At this point, you will no longer be able to ask your Neato to perform an Action using the old Action. 

Don't worry, simply unlink from your account from your old Action, and relink it to the new Action. Directions are provided below.

I had the old Neato Action, how do I switch to the new Neato Action?

First you will need to unlink your Neato account with Google Assistant

1. On your mobile device, open the Google Home app .
2. On the Home tab, tap the “Add” quick Action .
3. Tap Set up a device
4. Tap Have something already set up?
5. Under Linked services find the Neato Action
6. Tap Unlink account 

Next you will need to link your Neato account with the Action for Google Assistant

1. On your mobile device, open the Google Home app .
2. On the Home tab, tap the “Add” quick action .
3. Tap Set up a device
4. Tap Have something already set up?
5. Search for Neato
6. Login with your Neato Email and Password
7. Authorize the Action for Google Assistant to access your Neato Account
