In this table, you find the errors and alerts that may affect your Neato D8, D9, or D10. The error code is visible in your MyNeato app. Please follow the indicated troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.
Jump directly to an error code by pressing Command+F / Ctrl+F and typing in the error code.

1008- 1018 |
Update install error |
Robot will retry to update automatically. Perform a reset, then try to update again. |
1021 | Charge your robot |
Robot could not update the software because its battery is too low. Put the robot on the charge base to charge. It will update automatically once battery is charged. |
2001 | Not on the ground |
The robot is not on level ground. Place the robot back on level ground. |
2002 | Not on level ground |
The robot is tilted. Place the robot back on level ground. Check the wheels by pressing them. |
2003 | Dirt bin is open |
Place the dirt bin back in the cavity and make sure it is inserted correctly. |
2101 | Path is blocked | Remove objects that may be blocking the robot. |
2102/ 2103 |
Not on level ground | Place robot on level ground. If issue persists, clean the wheel sensor. |
2105-2107 | Too close to an edge |
Move the robot away from the edge and place it on level ground. Then continue the clean. |
2110 | Can't find base |
Pick the robot up and return it manually to its charge base. |
2111 | Press start to continue | Press start. If the issue persists, reset the robot, then restart the cleaning run. |
2114 | Too close to an edge | Move the robot from the edge and place it on level ground. Continue the clean. |

Clean the sensors. If issue persists, reset the robot. |
2204 | Brush is stuck | Remove the brush and clear from any debris. |

4003 | Internal error | Please contact customer care. |
4101 | Sensor failure |
Clean the main laser. Perform a soft reset. If the issue still persists, please contact customer care. |
4102 | Sensor failure | Please contact customer care. |
4202 | Battery can't charge | Please contact customer care. |
5001 | Dirt bin is full | Empty the dirt bin. |
5002 | Replace filter | Replace the filter on the dirt bin. |
5003 | Replace brush | Replace the main brush. |
6001 | Invalid command | Restart your robot. |
7100 | Docked | The robot is fully charged and ready to start cleaning. |
7101 | Battery is low | Wait for the robot to charge and start cleaning. |
7102 | Place on charge base | Place the robot back on the charge base. |
