How to clean the sensors
Your robot is relying on its different sensors to navigate seamlessly through your home. However, when the windows in front of these sensors become cloudy, your robot's navigation skills may be impacted. Therefore it is important to regularly clean the sensor windows.
Use a dry cotton swab or a microfiber cloth to gently clean the sensor windows.
Drop sensors and Wall-following sensor
Your robot has two drop sensors and one wall-following sensor:
The drop sensors detect stairs and ledges so the robot will avoid them.
The two drop sensors are located on either side of the brush on the underside of your Neato.
The wall-following sensor allows it to detect the wall and follow its line.
The wall sensor is located on the left side of the bumper.
